Orvis Ferrule Wax

All orvis Fly rods are shipped with a tub of ferrule wax. By using this ferrule wax on all of our rods, we realize an additional 1/16 inch of ferrule engagement over non-lubricators ferrules, when the ferrules are put together with a 90 degree twist. This ensures that a rod section will stay in place longer even during a hard day of casting in windy conditions or with sinking lines.
