Daiichi Hooks Model 3111

The Daiichi 3111 is a 2x-short shank saltwater hook.  Featuring a curved “beak” point, this hook will ensure that anything you hook with it will be penetrated in the mouth and not the throat.  This technique is very popular among saltwater fisherman because not only is it a safer option for the fish, it makes the release process much simpler for fishermen.  Many anglers also like using a short shanked hook against big fish because the short shank gives more leverage when fighting fish.  Being forged and having a straight eye, this hook is a great choice for saltwater fly fishermen.
